The C Family {Kings County Family Portraits}

I’ve had a difficult time choosing what photos to share from this lovely Autumn family session. We had the most beautiful evening light and a meaningful location – two of my favorites. This family visits this park and uses it as a backdrop for their family story. I loved taking their photos here and knowing they would bring back SO many memories for them for years to come.

Shortly after taking that photo above, I actually tripped over a tree root and fell smack on my rump! I think it’s the first time I’ve fallen during a photo session (although I know there’s been plenty of “almost” falls). Luckily I landed in a spot spot of leaves and left uninjured.

A few seconds later, J here pretended to fall down in the same spot. Funny guy!

His big sister is quite the explorer and climber. We got quite a few shots of her climbing different trees in the park.

This tree is the family’s favorite and was on the must-have of places to take pictures.

While the kids had a quick snack, mom and dad snuck away for some photos of their own. We joked that this counts as a “date!”Family Pictures Kings County, CA

They also brought a family quilt for picture – loooooove that! I hope some of my quilts will end up in future generation’s photos as well someday.4807 4819 4830 4851 4856 4870 4875

I think this was my favorite of the day. I just love fall colors and the sunset light was perfect. Jodie Bissig Photography www.bissigphotography.com 4937

After we got all of our pretty pictures, they also wanted to have some fun throwing leaves. I love when family photos are FUN. No yelling, so crying kids, just fun memories and beautiful pictures to capture them. 4975

And lastly, a sunset silhouette that I think needs to be enlarged BIG. Love this shot!Sunset silhouette family pictures. Jodie Bissig Photography www.bissigphotography.com
