My request for Mother’s Day this year was family pictures at the beach. On Sunday afternoon, we set out with some great weather to capture this moment in time.
Here are my two cuties (ages 7 and 3½) – the faces I adore and the reason I get to celebrate Mother’s Day. So so so grateful.
I also got to gift my mother-in-law with some updated portraits of her with her son and grandchildren.

And, of course, some shots of our little family of four.
My daughter is this amazing, creative little firecracker. She is already a true artist. She is sensitive and smart and so so so funny. Every day she gets better and better. I’m forever grateful to her for being the one that made me a mommy. I never knew I could adore someone as much as this.

This crazy boy melts my heart. He is sweet and spunky and loves me like no one else ever has. Mama’s boy indeed! He is logical and mechanically inclined and wildly affectionate. He tells me 20 times a day that he loves me and often appears beside me for a few minutes of cuddles. He is funny and clever and such a “boy!”
I really do love being a mom (even when they drive me crazy!) and I absolutely adore my children. I am so blessed to be their mommy.
I know I will cherish these photos for the rest of my days. Capturing this moment in time – being a mommy to young children – warms my heart. They’re growing up so very fast and I hope these pictures will be a lifelong reminder of what it feels like to hold both my babies in my arms. I love them with my whole heart for my whole life.
