Baby R was just shy of 2-weeks old for our session. He is such a tiny, adorable little boy and I loved getting to know him. Isn’t he handsome?

This one was my favorite… the eye contact, the cute expression on his face, the little tongue sticking out, and the tiny little forehead wrinkles. Ahh… I love newborns!

He was so funny – determined to turn away from the camera. That’s okay – it gave me a great excuse to capture his fuzzy little head of hair.

K was one of my newborns a few years ago – and now she’s a big sister!

Baby K {Hanford Child Photography}

Baby K is four-months already! I was so excited to see him again and see how much he has grown!  And it’s always such a compliment to have clients return for more and more and more pictures!

Did I mention he’s still totally adorable?

Boys always get the best eyelashes, don’t they?

K is a very mouthy baby – he was chewing on his fingers, arms, blankets, or blowing bubbles for almost the whole session. I’m not sure he’ll appreciate this picture later in life, but I couldn’t resist!

A Second Baby Boy {Hanford Newborn Photographer}

Welcome to the world, Baby N! I photographed his big brother a few years ago and was so excited to visit again to meet this sweet guy. For only one-month-old, he had some serious neck strength!

What’s a photo shoot without some friends? Ribbit ribbit!

I loved these pictures on a blanket his grandmother crocheted for him. Lucky baby!

Baby K {Hanford Newborn Photographer}

When this picture is the first shot of the session, I know I’m going to have a fun afternoon.

This sweet guy is the youngest son of The S Family I blogged about yesterday. Since he’s only about a month old and still so little, we decided he needed his own newborn session.

He has some pretty incredible eyes. They’re kind of blue, brown, and gray – all at once. I’m very interested to see what color they’ll end up.

Little boys sure do love their mama’s………

This beautiful blue blanket was handmade by baby’s grandmother. I looooove the color and it was perfect for portraits. As a fellow crafter, I’m always so excited to have something handmade and sentimental in the pictures.

Sweet Baby Girl {Sonoma County Newborn Photographer}

Baby Keira was born last week to some very close friends and she very quickly stole my heart. I took nearly 300 pictures of this child during our weekend visit! Here are a few of my favorites.

Her Daddy was the first visitor we had in the hospital when our first child was born and it warms my heart to see him in love with a daughter of his own. This baby chose some excellent parents!

Andrew {Hanford Newborn Photographer}

Are you ready for a cute-overload? Meet Andrew. He was born a little over two weeks ago at only 4 pounds, 12 ounces. He’s adorable and reminded me why I love my job. Love. Swoon. Adore.

This next image? He totally wasn’t asleep, just apparently pretending for the photograph.

I think this next one is my favorite. I can’t believe the eye contact from this little guy. To say he melted my heart is an understatement.

I loved having Dad’s hands in these shots – it adds such an amazing scale to remind us how truly tiny this little guy is.

And I love this next one, too. What woman wouldn’t want a picture like this of the man and boy that she loves?

Andrew was not interested in us putting mom & dad’s weddings rings on his feet. But we tried anyway and got a couple of cute shots. I felt like that ring would almost completely fit over his tiny little foot!

Two of My Favorite Boys : : Santa Rosa Child Photography

My best friend recently welcomed her second son. The day that I met him, he was soooo sleepy, he never even opened his eyes. Lucky for me, when I went back to photograph him, he managed to be awake for a few moments.



He reminds me very much of my little guy… very relaxed, very sleepy, and lots and lots of stretching to do.

Levi : : Hanford Newborn Photography

Levi is the newest member of our family! My husband’s nephew and his wife welcomed this cutie a few weeks ago and I had the privilege of meeting and photographing him. He seemed pretty happy in his great-grandmother’s arms…

Levi was about six weeks old in these photographs. He’s already very alert and made lots of fun facial expressions.

Emi : : Santa Rosa Newborn Photography

I have the best job. Seriously! I spent the morning with Emi on her 10th day of life. She is just so remarkably beautiful and I am honored to have met and photographed her.



Does this big brother look familiar? He should… he made an appearance a few weeks ago in his mom’s maternity session. He’s one of the sweetest little boys I have ever met, and even sweeter now that I have seen him become a big brother.


And, last but not least, one of my favorites from the session. Love the flower, love the little smile. What a cutie pie!
